Found via a friend’s review. She has rushed through this series, so I decided to give it a chance.

I love the idea of a middle aged mom as “the chosen one” with all the life experience that goes with it. The characters are a little over the top to call them “realistic”, but they are certainly believable. I went thought this one very quickly because it’s also a fast, easy read.

This is an excellent “establishing shot” and I clearly see why there is more to the series. You could wrap up here, but we’re really just getting started. I’m off to the second one.
